“I Remember You” is a tribute to those who have been impacted by the loss of loved ones. I was working on the melody for quite some time and when I was called in to see “Behind The Curtain” what had been a rough guitar line suddenly had a great purpose. I was inspired by the story and I really wanted to translate the emotion into a song. Music is such a healer, and that’s what I thought was the most important message for this song to convey. I hope that it reaches anyone who is suffering through a loss, and more so I hope that music is a big part of “How We Survive”.
